On september 19th, MVK De Kooy and Den Helder Airport opened there gates for the Heldair Show Martitiem 2009 edition. A small but great event. The weather was great for most of the day. The Navy kicked off with a great demo with a hijacking and 2 Lynx choppers. Demoteams that performed were Team Guinot and The Blades, both great demos. The NH-90 was the only single helicopter demo. Other demos were giving by the Fokker Four, Fouga Magister, Hawker Hunter and a Beech king Air. Besides the airshow the airfield was stil active, there was a lot of flying action of the off-shore companies with there helicopters, among them the S-61. Hope you enjoy the photos.
