Today is a sad day for Dutch Aviation, Martinair had announced that it would seize their passenger flights and it would make it's last flight today. The flight was a special farewell flight which took the Boeing 767,
PH-MCL Retro aircraft with special "Thank You!" titles in Dutch and English on the fuselage, from schiphol to Eindhoven, Rotterdam, Groningen and Lelystad airport for some fly-by and back to Schiphol. After arrival on Shciphol the airport authority and the DC-3 PH-DDZ, in Martinair Colours,
escorted the martinair Boeing to Schiphol-East were it was treated with a nice shower by the fire department. This marked the end for the passenger flights for Martinair. Only the Cargo flight will remain.
